Tournament Inconsistency, ultra disappointment

Fatigue has been a big issue for me, too. I'm only playing 32-team Bo7 Bronze right now. I'm carrying 13 pitchers, all with low stamina. Starters around 30 and several bullpen arms in single digits.

I set my top 2 relievers to Setup 6th or later. Rest of pen is Middle Relief with the better guys set to use more often. Then I dish out the appropriate secondary roles.

This seems to be working. If I make it to the finals, I usually only have 2 or 3 tired relievers at the end. Innings look to be better distributed to all relievers. Still tinkering, though.

Just to give you an idea of how inconsistent Bronze is: over the last 196 tournaments I have tracked since the live card update, 140 different teams have won at least once. Excluding my wins, no other team has won more than 5 of these 196, and only 2 others won 4. .

I have two relief pitchers on my team that recently won the tourney, both with low stamina. They have less than 10 innings pitched the entire year, and neither pitched in the last 10 days of the tourney...and they are both "exhausted" at 15% or so energy. Clearly the fatigue system is broken this year.

I'm presently searching for RPs that are likely not as good, but have a better stamina rating.

I've noticed this too. Late in 21 I got used to seeing a lot of the same team names in the finals at iron/bronze and pretty consistent performance. Now it is all over the place. I've had the same team win 3 in a row and then not get out of the first round 3 in a row back to back. This is in iron where it is probably the biggest crapshoot.

I’ve found this too. That’s why I switched to Silver. Since silvers are so rare I find that most teams are running different lineups and there is more room for experimenting. In bronze it’s the same players every game and it just comes down to whether your pitchers are hot (plus for some reason running the meme team I was trash mostly).

I have the same winning percentage, but it’s at least more interesting getting to try something new.
