Quick Questions Thread - Page 9

Good afternoon. Please excuse me for my poor knowledge of the language, I write with an online translator. After playing the game, I had a couple of questions. How can I enable tournaments for national teams in the custom game? And is it possible to add new leagues to an already created custom game? And in the farmclub submenu, you can only select junior teams, and I can't select teams from the farm league? Thank you for your answers.

Anton, are you Russian? If so you can write me in your native language. Anyways, you can't enable international tournaments in custom games, nor your can add leagues to an already created custom games, unfortunately.
I can't reply you regarding your last question, but I'm sure Adam will.

I don't remember how to replace the "championships" graphic on the team's history page. I can't seem to find a folder that contains it. I have attached the graphic, which I remember being able to use in an older version. Thanks for any help.

Not currently, no. All European leagues are hard-coded so as to not mess anything up with relegation or the Champions league.

But if checked the pinned post of Released Mods https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=284507 there's also several in there that should show you those naming conventions.

I think the poster was asking if in custom play could you make a league like certain euro leagues

I remember being able to do it in a previous version, perhaps as far back as FHM4. I have looked through every folder in the game and it doesn't show up anywhere. It's championships.png in one of subfolders of /data/skins in your installation folder, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 7\data\skins\default\icons (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Franchise Hockey Manager 7\data\skins\default\icons if you have the Steam version, and if you're using the dark skin substitute "dark" for "default" in the file path).

Sorry to keep going on about this minor point, but that speaks to the overall quality of the game. The only problems are small things. Anyway, I followed your instructions and they worked, except they didn't. As you can see from the two attachments, the icons folder now contains the .png I need, but it doesn't show up in the game. Both files are the same size. I tried starting a new game and it was the same. Any thoughts? I appreciate your help and won't be bothering with any more questions about what is, as I said, a tiny flaw.

Try switching to the other skin, exiting the game, then reloading and going back to the one you were originally using. I think it may need to do that to update the image.

If I place a player on the trade block does it impact the way they play in any way? any hit on morale or chemistry?

It can definitely affect their play.

How do I switch out my Primary Assistant Coach?
I'm the GM/Head Coach and I'm playing as Montreal and for some reason the game is showing Francis Bouillon as main Assistant Coach. I don't want to fire him but just have him assigned to another assistant role.

I can do it (have my next best guy assigned) if I switch Bouillon to be a Scout or Trainer but as soon as I re-assign him to be an Assistant Coach he becomes the main guy again.

You can't, but that slot doesn't really do anything - it's just there to fill the space on the staff screen that would normally be occupied by a head coach if the team had one, rather than leaving it blank. The coach in it doesn't contribute anything extra in terms of training or tactics. I think it just grabs the highest-reputation assistant.

So I simulated and played up through around 2033 and found that there ends up being a lot of 4.5 and 5 star guys, most of whom have around 800 offensive potential. Is that by design, or did my game just get super lucky in how it generated prospects?

Also I think you guys have Brayden Yager as having the wrong birthday, because he is showing up for the 2021 draft.
