My crazy pack luck continues. Annandale got 10 packs overnight and in one of them I received yet another Historical Perfect - a second Burleigh Grimes card. I have been incredibly lucky this season and I appreciate what I've been given.
For those who haven't had the incredible luck I have, study and emulate successful tournament teams, enter tournaments as much as you can, and try to get packs from tournaments eventually lady luck will reward you. Last edited by Charlatan; 05-31-2021 at 04:22 PM. |

.Can I just check with you that it's fine to offload the live mission AL/NL/overall toppers?

googled it. If I'm understanding it correctly, they are reward cards not team specific (Yogi, Trammel, Slaughter, etc).
good question, no idea. Thinking they aren't part of a later mission, but don't know.

Shinbone won all five of their games vs. Otsego Lake while Gem City took six of seven from Sugar Hill.

Port Ruppert Takes Early Lead in OL S272
A fairly light schedule saw the Mundys grab the top spot. Waffletown will make its debut in May. All OL teams will have large enough schedule to be in the hunt for the crown.

Gold 322
A quick update for OL Leagues Golden Players. Silly Mad Brewers are off to a dominating start in OL play. Unfortunately Boulder City do not have any OL games this season.
In overall Gold 322 play both Paxville Kings and Brewers are off to good starts. Wreckers are in the wildcard race. |

Unhappy with some aspects of the bullpen, Kaipo made a big splash by signing 93 OVR Bert Roberge for 56k. Roberge's arrival sends Keith Foulke to the reserves, with Kaipo preferring to not use flyballers if they can avoid it.

Tinkerman, it is my understanding that it is OK to sell the toppers as they are not used in for the missions. The toppers are the guys you get for completing divisions, leagues, etc. Are those cards worth selling though? I feel like at this point the prices of them have been so deflated due to excess supply that you would barely get anything for them. I guess a little is more than nothing though so if you’re not going to use them and you need some PP I suppose selling them makes sense.
The team rewards you should keep as (already announced) they are used in the face of the franchise linked missions. |

Thanks, Charlatan. I probably won't be in a hurry to sell any of the toppers for a while, but just want to be clear that I can when I'm ready. No buying back cards for packs-only!

Even while the Waffletown GM is on vacation, the scouting system continues to look for new talent; and they found a new addition to the club. Joining the squad:
100 - Smoky Joe Wood (1912) Trevor Hoffman will be sent to the reserves. Don Sutton will shift to the bullpen, and Wood will slide into the 3rd starter slot. ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The Patriots finally catch their first major break of PT22, as they pull a 99 Andrelton Simmons and end up selling for 200k. Management are holding an emergency meeting inside a small child's playhouse to figure out what to do with it.
Also, it has come to my attention that I never removed FL Leody Taveras from my roster until now. He went incognito on the roster last season as well, so I would like to request the forfeiture of all wins from last season as well as the potential omission of all OL wins that Taveras participated in so far this season. (He has participated in 17 OL games: 2 @ Gettysburg, 3 @ Route 66, 6 vs Left Coast, 4 @ Left Coast, and 2 vs South Holland). If that complicates things significantly, I offer you the option of omitting the Patriots from this season's OL standings as well. Taveras has been removed from the main roster and left to rot on the inactives in order for the Patriots to become re-compliant with OL rules and regulations. Shinbone is continuing to ride its dominance over Otsego Lake with 7 wins in seven tries. Gem City, with an 8-4 record vs. Sugar Hill is in second.
Overall OL teams are holding the division lead in three divisions and have one team in a WC spot. Early in the season nobody is in the relegation zone |

Syrups off to Sweep Start in OL S272
Waffletown joined the battle with a series of sweeps, dropping a pair to Boston, followed by two takedowns of Kaipo to take over the top of the chase.
