Too right. Looks like there's scope for a few swings yet... Though, Paxville shot themselves in the foot (again) with a 1-5 start to OL. They're becoming a bit notorious for being behind the 8 ball after <10 games!
Thanks for the tables, Quinta. I'm getting cooked up on a roof this week, so really appreciate not having to think about anything I don't have to!

Iron recalculated
Left Coast still holds a commanding lead and the Patriots aren't the worst anymore.

help on a 1b
Hey OL-ers,
Im considering an upgrade at 1b, and the two best with Stl ties (I'm having to loosen up my theme rules so far this year) are Will Clark 100 and Orlando Cepeda 100. Both pretty pricey. Anyone used either of these fellows in their lineups? |

But, then again, they haven't released any of the dozen versions of Bob Gibson yet. |

minor moves on the Waffletown roster... joining the squad:
IF/OF - Harvey Kuenn (1956) and 1B/OF - John Kruk (1993) Tino Martinez and Brooks Robinson (last Silver card still on the 26 man roster) will be sent to the reserves to make room. Kruk and Kuenn will backup multiple positions for the team. |

Pretty lucky draw
So I had saved 38 standard packs I had accumulated in tournaments to open after TWIPT this evening.
So, imagine my surprise when I was greeted by pack 30 or so of the 38: I think Yadier is the best card I have drawn this season.

OL standings in D366 after day 4
2/3 of the way through the season, here is how it looks:
Cary Southpaws: 7-3 Lemp Ave. Perfectos: 7-6 Nowhere Men: 3-3 Cedar Rapid Reds: 5-6 Annandale Atom Smashers: 1-5 No teams are currently in playoff position, though Nowhere Men is 1.5 games back of 2nd wild card position in NC, while Cary is 2.5 games behind 2nd wild card in AC. It is looking very likely that Cedar Rapids will be relegated this season. Annandale could potentially also be relegated, depending on how the rest of the season goes for them.

Bronze
Only one three games series yesterday with Gem City sweeping Keystone. Today is the day where Keystone can throw themselves into contention and make it a three team race. The Kops have four games each against Sugar Hill and OL leading Shinbone. Those are the only eight games on tap today.
Same three division leaders in PT and Baltimore is locked in a five team race for a WC spot in the NC. Still no teams in relegation. |

The OL race is tightening and should be a good battle down the stretch thanks to a 6-3 month for Texarkana. The Silly Mad Brewers, led by a hot Enos Slaughter, continue to lead the OL race.
The Paxville Kings, despite their troubles when playing OL teams, are in the wild card race and have a possible promotion chance if they make the playoffs. Helthwyzer remains in relegation territory. |

Hey guys, I would like to add my Lumberton Rockets team to the OL universe. We are currently in Iron and barring a complete meltdown over the next couple of days should be in Bronze next week.
I am going to take the weekend and transition it to a Pittsburgh theme team. Username: pittstlrs95 Team Name. Lumberton Rockets Thanks, Bill

Wow! A tremendous month of play by Route 66 was capped by a four-game domination of Left Coast, vaulting the Hot Rods into first place in OL I219.
Currently, no teams are in the relegation zone. Four teams are in playoff spots. South Holland, which had been playoff bound, turned a 20-8 June into a 7-17 July, falling just out of a wildcard spot. |

In a rollercoaster week of mismanagement and luck, the Patriots added to their bullpen again with a 91 Bob Locker for 43k, 15k below L10. To finance this acquisition, the team sold a 98 Stan Coveleski which was pulled a day or two ago.
