Regardless, thank you and the rest of the team for listening to our ideas and critiques, it's highly appreciated and a big reason why i've stayed invested into the game year after year.

you know what you are getting into with games like this. look over multiple years of this game... you'll see numerous ppl upset about what you explain... it's not like they hide the process. This isn't EA. The players are in part debuggers for the initial months.. don't like it? buy it for a huge reduction in price later in the year. i'm not a fan. i've made more than one quip about it. Also why i don't play much until end of June most years. Some years are smoother than others. Most people have much lower standards as far as when it is 'playable' than i do. Lash out at people in frustration if you choose to... the only person that needs a diaper change is you, bwahaha. Making you all emotional, i think. |

Hey, I'll call myself out on that too, sometimes I need a diaper change, sometimes I verbally lash out in frustration with this game. I wish it was perfect, but I've come to accept that things won't always be that way. I'm with you NoOne on the idea of waiting awhile before beginning with the latest OOTP....I've still yet to start what I want to start to see how this topic played out. It's probably the best way to approach a new OOTP, knowing there'll always be new bugs to find.

A quick update with my experience on this. I had a chance to test again and realised that my minor league totals modifiers were getting out of whack when I was sim-testing. The inflated minors stats seemed to be contributing to quick promotions.
Since then I have normalised the league modifiers and minor league promotion is a lot better and I am now seeing the improvements others have. Having said that, I think the area that needs further improvement is the amount of good quality 22/23 year olds in the draft. There are many college age draftees who are being generated at 22/23 and have only one year of college stats it would be ideal if generated college players were no older than 20/21. |
