Injuries

Hello to all

In the latest update, what does the following mean

-the injury list counter is now editable in commissioner mode

does that mean injuries can be edited

example, if someone is out 10 games, they can be adjusted
by the commissioner say to 4 games if need be

thanks

You could always do that before. This just added a frequency to turn it down league wide.

The counter is the time the player has to spend on the injured list, e.g. if you put someone on the NHL injured list when he's only out for a week, he won't be able to leave the injured list for 14 days, since that's the minimum amount specified for it. The editing change allows that number to be edited, in addition to the actual injury length (which, as Adam said, was already editable.)

I'm looking to do that but I'm not seeing where/which screen to do it?
Can you only do it with new games? Do you have to it during the offseason?

Anyone able to direct me, please? I usually don't mind but the season I'm on now, I see to have a player get injured every game or two.

Too many penalties and injuries

Hello everyone,

As the titles says I think I am experiencing way too many penalties and injuries. Is there a way I can turn the frequency down?

I seem to always have a powerplay and then receive a penalty against me. I am getting over 10 pims a game, upwards to 18 and so is the AI.

2 top 6 players and 2 top 4 defensemen have long term injuries in a span of 2 months. 2 other top six players are playing through injury.

Both can be changed at any time

To adjust the frequency of injuries.
At the top of your screen, go to File-Setup Options-Injury Options (right side, about halfway down.) - I just learned where this was earlier today

As far as penalties frequency (assuming your are in the NHL) go to NHL then scroll to the bottom of that menu where it says edit and click on that.
Then on the left hand side you will see Penalties/Game (right below Goals/Game). You just type in whatever number you want. Lower number = fewer penalties
