Being in Perfect is a pretty good reason for missing out on OL action

I entered my first PD for a while today. Was hoping to come 2nd for a Dave Magadan. Came 3rd/4th... darn it!

Just checked and my Giants/Negro Leagues theme seems to have held. Short of Jeff Kent to line up for the Willie Wait. Hope he shows up in the AH soon. Perry would be nice in the rotation. Of course, my graphics were gone. Funny how they have never fixed that problem. I have also added Sonora on three teams.

Looks like everyone made it into Diamond this week. I scanned the schedule and it seems for now that only the NC teams will have enough games to qualify for a championship.

Gold League:

It'll probably be a slightly tougher week in Gold than last.

I'm quite happy to do Gold and Diamond this week. Diamond won't take long to count up.

Sonoroa got missed at Gold.... check those settings again in case they reverted (or more likely the system just didn't work as it should)... everything else looks good (well, everything Iron and above)

Stone=3 teams (2 in one league, 1 in another)
Iron=7 teams
Bronze=11 teams
Silver=9 teams
Gold=9 teams (8 in one league, 1 in another)
Diamond=5 teams
Perfect=1 team (Go Nowhere!)

Might depend on which NC division is the inter league play…. Looks like Waffletown will get enough OL games to break 10

Waffletown play 6 against Annandale and 6 against Knockemstiff.

Annandale just have the 6 against Waffletown.

The moment you see DLL teams, you know it's a week you're going to punt. Zero incentive to login because you ain't doing s*** this week. I'm using the week to vary my ballpark from neutral to uh.... slightly favor hitting and suppress homers. Let's see if it works.

Just burns a little to be missing out on the OL Diamond party this week, but I'll take it

3/4 still pays out something right? hope so, but that sucks man. so close. Magadan was one of my favorite players back in the day & would be a nice card to have.

I have one on one of my teams. Didn't win it, bought it. Might be willing to sell because he hasn't made my gold team better. Waiting for a JT Snow to pop up because he seems to be just as good at 1B as a Magadan/Daniel Murphy duo. Would free me up to try and buy one of the other high-end SE cards (whether it be Lajoie or if I continue to stockpile points for Larkin or Turner)

Still way too many pre-money eliminations, especially in big tournaments. Feels like Magadan & Murphy are not the answer to my inability to cash consistently.

Keystone is early into their 2041 campaign however, warning clouds are already brewing as in eight games, the Kops have only generated 30pp in achievements!

Six of my nine starting positional players are batting below the Mendoza Line!

And I'm not even going to start talking about my pitching!

Looks like the team will be on autopilot by tomorrow, for the rest of the week, if something doesn't change!
