BRHLR Retro Cash League Has Openings - 1980 Draft Upcoming

The BRHL Retro League (BRHLR) which is platformed on the FHM program is looking for 4 GMs as we prepare for the 1980 draft.

The list of names is long for the great players being drafted this year, Denis Savard, Paul Coffey, Jari Kurri, Larry Murphy, Kelly Hrudey, Andy Moog, Barry Nicholls, Barry Pederson, Jimmie Fox, Steve Larmer, Hakan Loob, Mike Bullard and many, many more. Each team still has their first round pick so you're able to pick up a future star right out of the gate!

The BRHLR is a cash league of $50 per season. All winnings are paid back to the GM's for various league accomplishments. See the rules page for more information

Chicago Blackhawks
- The roster does not lack star power, with Mike Bossy, Darryl Sittler, Phil Esposito, Steve Shutt and others, the Hawks roster is loaded with offensive firepower as they look to improve on last years 7th place finish. They hold the 15th overall pick in the draft as well.

Quebec Nordiques
- The Nordiques are another team deep up front, with Bernie Federko, Bill Barber, Wilf Paiemont, Rejean Houle and others, the Nords are primed for another successful season. Tack on the 17th pick in the draft, and the Nordiques should again be amongst the leagues elite teams.

Washington Capitals
- The Capitals hold the 12th pick in the draft as they look to add to their roster of guys like Clark Gillies, Kent Nilsson, Rob Ramage and many others. With Keith Acton, Dave Schultz and Duane Sutter, this team is no fun to play against.

New York Islanders
- The Islanders lost in game 7 of the cup finals last season, and need someone to take them over that final hurdle. This team is equipped to win NOW with Marcel Dionne, Butch Goring, Craig Ramsay, Brad Park, and Rogie Vachon amongst others and the incoming 18th pick in the draft, and the Islanders should be right back in the hunt for the championship this season.
