Player Names for icons in 2D
Just watched the reveal video which had a lot of good info.
Is there any chance you can do something in the 2D display that includes player names? I know last year you guys said names were too big for the icons which I understand. However, could you do a legend at the bottom of the screen that shows who is on the ice at the moment? I barely know the numbers of all the players for my team especially once injuries, trades, and call ups change things. I know next to none for my opponents. I know I can pause the game to see them but that get tedious when I just want to watch the game and know at a glance who is on the ice. |

I haven't seen the video yet but I'm very surprised if this hasn't been addressed. To be honest it's one of the reasons I stopped playing the current (and previous) version. I like to play out games and seeing the match-ups clearly and without having to switch to other screens mid-play makes such a difference to the immersion.

I absolutely agree
Adding the notes is a big win for me not just for reminders but to help me remember the path this team has followed to every Stanley Cup

Cheat Sheet
I too struggle with this.
It did help when I made a cheat sheet on Excel and just have that open on another screen or printed out. I have a roster with number, name, position, and then I end up scribbling notes either on the actual page (which I think is kinda fun and immersive) or on the Excel sheet. I'd love to see names appear in the 2D but I do enjoy this workaround as well. |
