Player rights in historical game

I’m currently playing a game starting in 15-16 and have just noticed the majority of players drafted in 2014 or 2015 who are playing in juniors don’t have any NHL rights assigned. Barzal, Provorov, Nurse, Chabot etc are a few of the high end prospects whose rights aren’t assigned to the correct team.

Edit: it’s not just juniors it’s almost anyone without an NHL contract.

Was the game started prior to the 8.2.50 update? There was a problem fixed in that update that would cause that kind of issue. I just started a new game and the rights to Barzal and the others appear to be set correctly.

I think that could be the issue, yes. I’ll let you know if it’s an issue in the more recent update.
