Is it possible to have replays in 2D and slow them down like watching a slow motion replay? Another little item is when a player scores, see what # of goals for the season, and also assist# for the players. Thanks.

Does the team or the owner determine how much the owner will pull out of the finaces at the end of teh season. Can I chnage the onwer in edit to loiwer the amount of money I use.

The owner's financial patience rating (not editable right now, but it will be after the next update), the amount of money the team has on hand, and the level of play are the main factors in determining if, and how much, the owner takes.

We should be able to, but there are a few other things we want to get to in 2D first.

I think so, that and shopping draft picks have been on the to-do list for a while but have a lot of other things in front of them at the moment.

First thing, thanks for the outstanding work through the years and congrats to all the FHM team

I don't know if it has been reported yet but I think there is a dysfunction with the icetime (especially for defensemen)
I play with the 2D view but with fast clock/no highlights
My first pairing plays sometimes significantly less time in EV - and overall obviously - than my 2nd and 3rd pairings (reflected in shifts too : less than 10 vs. 15/20+)
Of course the problem is still there no matter the icetime (22-20-18 or 25-20-15 for example)
I have to inverse the pairings... so no big deal but it is weird and counterintuitive (it seems to work well with forwards though)

I believe I never had those problems with any previous versions of FHM
Is there something wrong or... ?

Not sure if this counts as short, but I don't understand the custom playoff formats. I have an 8 team x 2 = 16 team league and I want just top 4 per division, with finals between 2 division winners. I'm seeing 8 teams 4 per division with several suboptions, with or without reseeding, then just an 8 teams. And so I select the first one but now I cannot change the options in rest before and rest between games. I can't find any detail in the manual about what these options mean and how to set up playoffs.

I'll have a look at that, but it might be useful if I could see your save. The only thing I can think of that might result in that kind of result would be one of the pair getting injured partway through the game.

That's going to depend if you have the teams separated into two divisions or two conferences. With two conferences, just use either "8 Teams, 4 per Conf" or the Custom type, starting in the Quarterfinals and with the Conferences Separate box checked (the latter will let you edit the rest days, those are fixed in the pre-set option and can't be changed.) With divisions, it won't work as well - the closest you could come is using the Custom type and specifying that the divisional leader gets seeded, but that will still take the top 8 teams in the league, not the top 4 per division.

FHM 7 game is saved at July 1. I copied that folder into FHM 8 saved games folder, but when I click on import FHM 7 save on the start screen, I get the message "must be on July 1." What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

I started a Custom Game with NHL + AHL then added a 28 team( 2 conferences 4 divisions) custom league and when I finished and tried to start the game it said-Could Not Create game folder.

Can you have more than 2 leagues(Custom game) and will the game play or not?

If you add a league to the game and it won't play then what's the point of adding a league ?

I tried it again without editing(added fictional league) team names,cities,arena's,etc and it started the game ,however as mentioned before it doesn't work editing new fictional league team names,cities,arena's ,etc because I have tried it twice without luck(approx 45 minutes of wasted time each time).

There's been an issue with a couple of games. Was it a Custom Game? The next update should resolve most issues I believe.

When you get that error, it's likely not a Custom Game issue; can you load any games? Typically that comes from when you can't write to where the game saves (ie; your My Documents folder if it's Steam). How much space do you have? Are you running FHM/Steam in Administrator Mode?
