Crashing September 20th on year 2 of a custom league?

I had this same issue in FHM7. I created a major league, a minor league affiliate and a bunch of junior leagues to draft from. I successfully simulated the first year without issue. When I get to the start of the preseason, the game crashes.

Can you upload the save (instructions here)? I'm not sure why it would be crashing then, but we can have a look and try to see what's going wrong.
