Reduce the capacity of the world.dat file?

Hi, I'm korean user who played this game for years. Since Korean UI is supported, I can share some files like KBO quickstart, translation patch, E.T.C.

BTW, There is a capacity issue @ world.dat file.
By using "PURGE" method, I can diminish the coach & player's dat.
But I don't know how to reduce the file capacity of the 'world.dat'

Is there any way to make it possible?

Unfortunately, I don't believe there's really any way to do this other than maybe editing the world db to have less entries and then reimporting that.

Don't directly edit world.dat unless you know exactly what you're doing. (And make a backup first!)

It's a mostly binary file, so I would HIGHLY recommend not editing it directly. It would be very hard to exactly know which parts could be edited or removed, and being off by even one byte would break the loading.

The world.dat file I believe includes all the basic geographic data in the game. So if you did want to reduce its size, the biggest thing you could do would be to essentially remove any geographic data that isn't needed. You would have to know what data to remove, or else players might start coming from unknown cities or nations, but you could prune down the world_default.xml file to a smaller size, re-import that into your game, and then when you save, that can cut down the world.dat file size.

There is some league history or other information stored there too, although I think the geographic data takes up the majority of the world.dat file.
