Arena Editing

Playing historical mode.

I can edit arena names and capacity, etc (team edit page middle column at bottom), but at the beginning of the following season, the arena reverts to the standard name and capacity of the arena selected as set on the team edit page, left column.

This wasn't the case in previous versions of the game. Any edits I made were permanent.

We made some changes to the arena data structures this year, I suspect that's probably broken something in the code that prevented arena changes from getting reverted. We should probably add an extra editing option to control that specifically, so you can turn the updates off if you want, I'll put that on the list.

So post update I noticed that changing an Arena is still reverting back to something else for example I kept the Maroons and Americans but moved them into new Arenas in the mid 1940's both keep reverting back to either previous arena or capacity changes revert back(Westmount Arena for example doesn't stay at the set 17500 I put it at, it goes back to 4300 every year) Am I missing something with editing arenas maybe?

Yeah, there's a bug with it at the moment. Should be fixed in the next update.

Until the update, the only short term solution around this I have found, is instead of using "Add Hist team" you use "Add team" and that one shows up with a default arena which is editable.

The downside is you have to customize everything else to match the historical team you want to play as. and if its a a team already existing in the year you start historical mode you would have to "remove team" and then "Add team" and replace them.

Is there an ETA on the next update?

I'm having this problem with a custom game. I started an NHL+AHL+CHL game and all of the NHL teams and AHL teams reverted their arena name and capacity as soon as the calendar flipped to the second season
