Need Draft Advice

I am torn between these two players for my first round pick. In most cases, I am taking the starter over the reliever, but Lesko looks more like a reliever than Carver. I get Carver's stamina is a bit low and so is the work ethic, but he has 4 plus pitches, whereas Lesko only has 2. Have never really encountered something like this, looking for some input.

I would draft Carver. Changeups are notorious for not developing in OOTP.

Carver is the clear cut choice here and it isn't even close (unless his bonus demands are sky high or he is impossible to sign).

Carver

Pros:
5 pitches, 4 of them plus or plus-plus
Already developped and AA ready if not MLB ready

Cons:
Age
Stamina
Crappy personality

Other guy

Pros:
Age
Higher stamina

Cons:
Will never develop that changeup and even then, is a 3 pitch pitcher
Less developped and in my experience, young pitchers have a hard time developping both control and movement at the same time if they have a long way to go

If I'm geing honest though, depending on how late you are picking, I would consider Carver to be a late 1rst round or early 2nd round. Both of these guys look like bullpen pieces, altough Carver could maybe fake it as a starter (I'd like his control to be higher for that though).

That low work ethic would be concerning for me.

Carver

He is the safer bet and almost a guarantee to get to the majors. Check out the Scouting report and see if either pitcher has had a dip in development. Sometimes you can find a player who is on a development spike on the scouting report
