So I am playing a franchise with the Kraken and when I watch the game I usually like making decisions in the game myself.
When playing the game and making the decisions my team in the regular season have destroyed their opposition outscoring the computer by 6 or 10 goals. Now is this because I have increased the goals / Game to 6.40? Or is it just easy to score goals in 2D game? Here are my final scores including preseason and regular season. 8-1 8-2 11-1 14-2 13-4 Those were preseason games Here are the Regular season final scores. 6-4 7-1 14-4 8-1 I love to score lots of goals but these stats are not realistic at all. |

That's an extremely small sample size, particularly since lopsided scores in preseason games aren't surprising if you're playing your starting lineup - the AI will be mixing up its roster and spreading out the icetime evenly during that time. And is this with the regular Seattle starting roster, or have you made player changes?
Goals aren't any easier to score in a 2D game; we test and adjust the engine after making any changes to 2D gameplay to make sure the stat totals are staying near the target levels. |

I noticed my average scores were quite a bit higher in preseason as well, but I was mostly using my opening day roster. Once the regular season kicked off the AI got serious and easy blowouts were largely a thing of the past.
