Balance Fictional League

I'd like to create a 20 team fictional league where every team has roughly the same year end Current Budget. Also, I'd like Fan Interest, Fan Loyalty and Market Size to be all equal. What are the Financial Settings that I'd need to apply for this to happen? Also, would I need to go into every teams Settings and change the Fan Interes, Fan Loyalty and Market Sizes? Thanks in advance for your help.

You would, and you'd need to keep doing so as they will keep evolving up and down over time. You'd also need to change the Budget twice per year - once on the day FAs declare and again on the first day of pre-season.

When creating your universe, check the box for "Start with inaugural draft"
Once you start your universe and you get to the draft select to draft with a budget and set the draft budget of all teams equal because this is what the game will use to set the initial market size and operating budgets for teams. You can then draft manually or just simulate the whole draft.
As your universe evolves, some teams market sizes and budgets will increase and some will decrease. If you want to them to remain equal you will have to micromanage that.

Yeah, that seems to work. I also added a zero to the National Media contract and put revenue sharing at 100%. I simulated 10 years worth and it seems to work fine with all team Current Budgets being very close to each other. Thanks for your suggestions.

If you want the media contracts to stay the same just set the number of years for each to a suitably large number, which should hold them in place at the amount you set for the period stipulated.

Ok, sounds like a good idea except that I'm not sure how to do that...unless you're referring to the Contract Years Maximum pull down menu? I thought that was for players' contracts?

I've been starting my leagues like this for many versions now, and my one tip not already mentioned is to start out all market sizes at 11. This creates the smallest impact of the random ups and downs to 10 or 12 and has the least impact on the game.

Also don't overlook the impact of owners. A cheap owner will not spend money no matter how much you allow in the budget.

In the edit finances part of the FRONT OFFICE tab for each team, which is where you change all of this data.
