While it is not nearly completed to my satisfaction, I feel 3 years and 20,000+ players later is time enough for some show of progress. I hope to have included Negro League players in the next update as I have time.

Martin (1872) that Chickazoola found for us several years ago. I also neglected to include Robert Armstrong (1871). So I'll update that as soon as possible.

Facepack upgrade, pictured during his brief tryout with the 1921 Chicago White Sox. He was featured in the March 27, 1921 edition of the Chicago Tribune under his fictitious name of "Joe Morris." He apparently thought that he stood a better chance of sticking in the majors using that pseudonym and, while it worked to land him a brief spot with Chicago, his ruse was quickly discovered by eagle-eyed newspaper reporters.

I am searching for a few 1980s Dodgers.

1. Brad Wellman, 1987. As far as I know he is still on the missing list.
2. Jerry Grote, 1981. Jerry was released by the Royals in August of '81 I think, but signed on with the Dodgers in time to play a few games during their stretch drive. Images of him with the '77-78 clubs are available, but I haven't seen anything of him with the '81. (You can tell which year by the patch on the sleeve.)
3. Alex (Alejandro)Taveras, 1982-1983. Topps Vault released some photos of Alex in the '84 uniform, presumably taken in spring training of that year, but he did not play a big league game in '84. He did play for the Dodgers in '82 and '83, but I haven't seen any shots of him in the uniforms of those years.

Esoteric, I know, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
