I was just coming to post that loss. I can't feel too bad losing to a 125 win team but it hurts to not even stretch it to seven games.

In other news, Cary is in the Diamond Finals, up 3-2 (both of us were wild card teams) and heading back home to friendly confines.. If we win one of the two remaining games, we won't be in Diamond next season, unfortunately.

The Librarians took down the Penguins in S406. Congratulations! As it turns out, this appears to be only the second time in 63 all-OL Series that two teams from the same ownership group have squared off. The other was in 2057, also in PT 22.

Interesting. The Babel Librarians seem to have a turbo boost RNG when they get to the playoffs. They have 6 titles in 8 seasons. The Librarians will be celebrating tonight enjoying some reading alone in the stacks.

I add my congrats. If you're taking suggestions, I offer up Ugueth Urtain Urbina. He anchored my bullpen for a few years in a Strat-O-Matic play-by-mail league in the late 90's. Nice job! What is his current AH average right now?

Keystone had a gut-wrench of a season as we were so close to going all the way......When I woke up from my dream we were only 53 games out of 1st place!

Make room for us in Silver because here we come....again!

213k, but I've waited 10 months to pull a card that makes the current roster of one of my teams, and it doesn't seem that Seattle will need the points, so he's a keeper! However, if Lemp Ave. (St Luis theme) ever want a Mize and can't find one, I'd do them a deal

Of course, when there is actually someone to cover the bronze teams, PT scatters them to the wind. It's not like my two teams don't have the others friended, and they have had the other teams as friends for weeks and weeks. It has become an almost bitter frustration that, again, and for no discernible reason, the game can't sort the friends list correctly. I realize that most other players are more focused on success in PT than OL, but, for me, success in the general game is viewed as a way to gain PP to chase an OL crown. This makes me nearly certain that I will sit on the sideline for PT 23 if there is no improvement in league allocation. I can't imagine it is so difficult to code that it ends up such a mess so frequently. Guess I'll follow the forum for the next iteration to see if anything changes. If not, it's not worth the time to me.

yeah, definitely extra frustrating this season, as the Hartford Bronze Glue team is still at Bronze this time and it still wasn't enough.... for what it's worth, hope to see ya back next version... I'll be around with my usual bunch

2063 tier breakdown:

Back to Bronze pot luck... other tiers look good.

Bronze= 8 teams (5 in one league; 2 in another; 1 off alone)
Silver= 22 teams
Gold= 9 teams
Diamond= 4 teams
Perfect = 1 team (3rd Perfect tier run for Cary)

Coney Island: Dennis Martinez, Charles Nagy & Jose Rijo sold. Doc Gooden, Tom Seaver, Roy Halladay and Pudge Rodriguez in. Thurman Munson remains as a backup with Molina going to reserves. Munson could be sold (Molina is locked) to make room for another upgrade next weekend. So once again Pie Traynor dodges a bullet. The Warriors are just under 40K in points, as mentioned I could check in and sell Munson and look for one more upgrade or just call it a PT career.

Sugar Hill brought in Hank Aaron and Roberto Clemente and dismissed Andre Dawson and Monte Irvin to the AH. Sugar Hill is down to 24K in PP and the two cards I put up will being in less than 30K so they are about done-auto pilot back in place.

It's amazing to see 22 teams in silver and odd the game can't bronze correct. I am not going to play PT in the next version, and unless there is something upgraded in the base game that would intrigue me I may not even buy 23. I only play historical so I don't care about current rosters.

Paxville are the odd ones out this week with only 3 fixtures, which are unlikely to inflate to 10! I'll probably do Thurs/weekend again.

would be cool if it could be done... if I remember correctly, a closed friends league was tossed around in PT19 (at least on the boards) but seemed like it wasn't a viable option from the programming/server side...
