Does anyone know what 2021 templates are going to be available.

Because neither 2021 topps, donruss or bowman seem like templates that could be made. So what template is going to be used for 2021?

Bowman is doable if you don't mind the team abbreviation being omitted. The rest is horizontal. I started on the Topps, but it's rather dissatisfying trying to horizontalize it. I did that with one of the recent Topps sets and it looked ok, but this one is less forgiving.

It seems to me that it's time for OOTP to update their baseball card making options.
I think Topps is designing their cards a certain way to make it harder to duplicate them. Just my thoughts on it. But baseball card making does need an upgrade.

All they really need to do is provide an optional parameter for any element that would rotate that element by a certain number of degrees. The point or rotation should be the upper left corner of the element.

There's a part of me that has been reluctant to pour time into creating more cards given the general lack of support for them. I regularly resubmit some common enhancements and none of them get looked at. My impression is that it's not seen as something with much appeal to the broader customer base.

This the 1986 Topps card. Fonts would be a good thing to add to the program along with what you've said. I tried to make this set before and needed a template for each team. That wasn't that hard to do but I could never figure out how to make the URL work. It would only work manually and only one card at a time. It wouldn't do a team set. So I had 26 card templates with 26 separate URLs and just used the URL to match the team of the player I was making the card for.

Fonts would be great, although there are some card sets that even a custom font can't solve. I did what you describe for the 1965 Topps set. It's one template with a variety of images to support each team.

That's exactly were I got the idea to try this on the 1986 set. That 1965 set did it for me to try the same thing. That way I could have the exact font and colors from the card. I just couldn't make it work completely. I've zipped up the card templates and the URLs separately and posted them a few years ago as I remember Silvam14 was asking if anybody had any card set for 1986 Topps. I told him the same thing. I guess it's possible my post is still here some place. Later, I had a severe PC crash and lost all of my work even though I backed up. My PC wouldn't boot and my back up wouldn't work. Couldn't even boot in safe mode.

Anything new to report re: 2021 card templates (he said, as his fictional league is currently in Sept. 2020...)?
