Pitcher/batter aging limits???

The manual gives the example of .5 and 1.5 but doesn’t say if there is a limit. I suppose the lower limit would be something like .1 so they would play to a very old age but is there an upper limit like 2 or 5, etc.??

The underlined is just for the “talent change randomness”.
I did do a test league with 5.00 set for batter/pitcher aging and players started going downhill fast at age 32 and most were done by age 38. I guess if you select 5.0 then they will go downhill about 5 times faster than a setting of 1.

Sorry, for the aging use 1 as average/normal. Adjust using decimal points from there.

I set mine like this - however definitely experiment - everyone has their own setting they like.

I set the aging pretty low on my Beer league (.750 to start out) figuring it's a beer league after all, so wouldn't be surprising to see older players still suiting up.... while I have seen some 40+ year old players still kicking, I've noticed once they hit 43-44 or so, they completely lose any defensive abilities (ratings plummet to single digits), so they basically become useless as anything other than a DH if they are a batter

what happens if you edit the older player so they have avg fielding ratings? do they retain it, or does it drop off the next day?
