I am fine with making a public vote. Cary Southpaws have the most OL titles and a good chunk of them are Diamond titles. They also have the highest OL win percentage (again largely at the top of the OL league pyramid). Lots of other contenders including a few not named (you could also reward late success higher). Cary Southpaws also probably dominated my teams the most as well.

Gold 313
Cary continues to lead Gold and Nowhere Men are keeping in contention for the OL crown. Both are solidly leading their divisions.

Brooklyn in front. Ostego and Seattle trying to stay in touch. Las Vegas' Mickey Mantle in the lead for the Kauff Award, while Waffletown's Greg Maddux is ahead in the True Award race.
With fewer promotions and relegations, most of the league will stay intact for next season. |

Mundys Add A little to Lead
Port Ruppert took two-of-three from Silly while visiting the Madlands and now need only one win in their season ending series at Glorious Mundy Stadium. Paxville and Knockemstiff finished up their truncated OL schedules with both falling short of the minimum for crown qualification. In PT play, they each lead their respective divisions. Silly has passed Port Ruppert in the wild card hunt as the Mundys have been in a slow, but steady descent to also-ran status. Either would need a very strong September to make it in. All four teams are clear of relegation, so far.
Finally, Cary has dominated the vote for the Founders Cup and a three peat seems to be in play. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 03-19-2022 at 01:43 PM. |

Cary Southpaws keep piling on the Ws and extend their lead. They have not clinched but Nowhere Men would need nearly all OL wins and a lot of help to take the title. Kauff award is still up for grabs with Nowhere's Eddie Collins and Tris Speaker leading the race. Babel's Greg Maddux is leading Denton True award with best stats in all the important categories except wins (that category is led by Cary's pitchers!) but has to pitch against Cary twice in the month ahead.

(Note: an upside-down day has turned into a very late OL report)
With 10 OL games to go, Brooklyn has clinched the OL S335 championship. The clincher for the Dynasty came in a 6-2 win in Cleveland. |

Mundys Hold on for Diamond Crown
Port Ruppert took two-of-three from Silly in their season ending series to clinch. Both Paxville and Knockemstiff were ineligible due to shortened schedules. In PT play, both the Kings and Shiners won their divisions, albeit from the American Congerence. The Mad Brewers and Mundys fell short, but both managed to avoid relegation.

Gold
Cary Southpaws are your 2071 OL Gold Champions. They clinched early and kept winning. Both Cary and Nowhere Men are in the playoffs. I would award the Kauff to Cary's Eddie Collins leading the league in WAR and SBs while batting .310, only have 6 errors and a zone rating over 11. For Denton True it comes down to two Greg Maddi--Babel Librarian's had a slightly better ERA and led the league in rWAR but Cary's had a nearly great ERA while going 27-4.

Congrats to Port Ruppert! (1st Diamond crown?)
And Cheers to Quinta for doing Gold. But before you retire... If Algoma win the sweepstakes with Seattle and Waffletown, both Jason and myself will be unable to do Gold next week, which may leave a Quinta sized hole! |

Brooklyn motors into the playoffs along with a few others.
The Kauff is a tough call. Ken Griffey (CLE+) had a great year with 35 HR, 113 RBI and .301 AVG. But I would give it to Dan Brouthers (KEY+), who, though slightly less in the power numbers with 20 HR and 88 RBI in 133 games, was 2nd in the league with a 158 OPS+ and created a league-best 9.6 runs per 27 outs. The Blue was much easier to determine, with Greg Maddux (WAF+) leading most categories, while compiling a 25-3 record with a 0.87 WHIP. |
