I have really enjoyed OL play. Thank you all (anyone reading this message deserves lots of thanks). You, as Tinkerman says, made it more fun. I will not be a big player in PT23 although I cannot say exactly what I will do. If I do play I will likely do one low maintenance OL team under the Quinta Enigma name (although maybe I will use one of my current OL teams). I think that will give me the most enjoyment--I will probably also have more time for actually watching baseball.

I do want to note that I have accomplished all I set out to and even more (my Quinta Enigma team is actually in a Diamond finals and I have a chance at getting completely pounded and quickly exiting from Perfect League. Two OL teams even made it for short stays in Diamond.

I am retiring but will do minimal checkins for the rest of the PT 22 cycle. I am retiring because I am really busy right now (I am running Boston Marathon in 4 weeks and training is really intense right now) and the game is hard to properly progress in at this point. Good luck to all!

I didn't get a chance to figure out the promotion/relegation in full, so it won't be here. Of course, the last time I didn't get it done, things were exact, so I don't think it's a big deal. Don't forget, next Sunday the Founders Cup will be posted. Cary has a big lead in the voting so far. Not sure how long everyone wants to keep OL going for PT 22. It's already lasted longer than the previous three versions, and we do seem to have quite a few folks who've switched to auto-pilot. Any thoughts?

Knockemstiff made it to the Diamond series but lost 4-2. Paxville finished top of the league for the 2nd week in a row... and got swept in the DS by the wildcard for the 2nd week in a row, sheesh

yeah, guess it all depends on whether we have someone to cover the standings at each level.... I figure I'll keep up with the spreadsheet stats as long as we get the results (and can cover whichever tier my bunch is on if needed) up through the release of v23 and then convert it over for the next one if we want to keep it rolling.

2072 tier breakdown:

couple of misses at Bronze... everyone else where they should be

Iron= 1 team
Bronze= 10 teams (8 in one league)
Silver= 21 teams
Gold= 6 teams
Diamond= 5 teams

Gear Terrace, Shinbone, and Boston will definitely have a lot of OL matchups. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the schedule shakes out.

I wouldn't worry that it was your fault. Consider what happened to me with Asylum last week. They were friends with everybody in bronze, had been friends with everybody for weeks and weeks, yet were somehow cut adrift. The friends list coding just has weird bugs that pop up from time to time.

You're absolutely right, but that still leaves room for human error

. I didn't have Las Vegas on my list, but Seattle's list is maxed out and needs to be tweaked each week, which can be tricky with the playoffs not ending until around midnight.

I'm up for covering Diamond and Gold, but they're both quite quiet, so I'll wait for a midweek update if that's cool? Unfortunately, Nowhere and Cary both fall short of the required games.
