I have the same issue. I have tried everything to fix it without re-installing. Even deleting the OOTP 23 folders from AppData and Documents would not help.
A reinstall did help but after one or two simulations the issue is back and I can't submit changes.

Update: I tried uninstalling, deleting my files and reinstalling a number of times, but that doesn't help anymore.

So, I'm completely stuck and can't change my team at all.

Has the root cause been found yet? Is there a server or client update coming? Or is there a workaround in the meantime?

We did already have a server fix go live today that should hopefully help. For anyone who's been having the issue, can you try again and let us know if things are better or if you're still having trouble?

Still no luck for me. Here's a new trace log, trying to add DeGrom to roster & rotation.

We just applied another update maybe 10 minutes ago or so. Has that helped?

Another thing that may help track down is if you reduce your reserve roster size, does that permit the export through? We'll keep investigating but if dropping that roster down helps, that may help us track the issue further.

I flushed everything again and retried, but no change.
The debug file shows the same too.

One thing I noticed was that the submit bug for me started immediately after I tried doing a buy or sell order (can't remember which) that so happened to time with when the new sim was ready for download. Probably not helpful but if you guys are stumped then I suppose it's one other area to briefly consider.

Reducing reserve roster size doesn't help, but just in case it's related-- I can't actually demote everyone, if i try, it will keep 3 guys on the reserve roster. I can't remember if there's a minimum number of players on the reserves, but seems weird it would be 3? (or 29 active+reserve?)

There's a min batter and min pitcher counts, so depending on your roster breakdown usually ends up being 2-3.

Thanks for trying. Anyone running into this, does this happen with all teams you attempt to submit, or only one main one? If you can try creating a new team and seeing if you run into the same troubles. Also, if you remember doing anything different with the team before you started running into the troubles (ie. did it happen after changing logo or ballpark or uniforms, or any special card actions), that might help us track down as well. Thanks

Just tried creating a new team, and it all works fine. Was able to submit both while in queue, and once being placed in an entry league. Switching back to my original accounts still doesn't work.

I'm not 100% sure on the timing, since this has been ongoing for several days now, but I think the last things I was playing with was populating my watchlist and placing a few buy orders (at least one of which went through, and trying to add them to my roster was when I stopped being able to submit-- but that may well be coincidental).

I first had this happen during the initial beta run, just before I had bought a card and tried to put it on my roster but it showed up with all ratings 0. I think I tried to put it on the roster while the timer was at simulating but before I had gotten the new sim. But I've had the issue eventually after every server reset, though after the resets I've generally been able to submit for a bit until it stops working at some point. Everything else (tournaments, 2nd team, etc.) seems to work fine.

I put Willie Randolph on my watchlist sometime before it all went wrong. His card is the only one I ever put there.
I just tried to open the watchlist and when I change its filters to show that card, the CPU usage goes up and OOTP stops responding. The window refreshes about every 10 seconds but I can't interact with it.

So, this might have something to do with it.

Edit: I have restarted OOTP and this time there was no funny business on the watchlist screen. However, no matter how many times I click 'Remove from watchlist', the card stays there. Tried clicking it on the card list tab as well, but still no change.

Checked my watchlist, I'm having the same issue with a card there that I can't remove. I can create buy and sell orders from the dropdown but remove doesn't work. Also tried to add and remove other cards from the watchlist, that worked just fine. The stuck card is Albert Belle and the other cards were Max Scherzer and Bert Blyleven if that helps at all.

There does appear to be a separate issue with the watchlist where if you use the dropdown to create a few orders, cancel them the dropdown just opens and immediately closes. But that is not unique to the card stuck on the watchlist and is resolved by going to some other screen and then back to the watchlist.

It happened on my primary account first. My secondary worked fine for a while until it too finally became unable to submit a team.



I know I first noticed it with my primary shortly after I bought Albert Belle. No such purchasing shenanigans with the secondary though. Is it possibly related to the number of games being played? The lag between it happening on my primary and secondary was pretty close to the lag it took me to create the two teams.
