I'm just noticing this thread for the first time, so I apologize if this has been covered before. When I go to 'open file' in edit ballpark, and click on the .PRK file, it's asking me for an app to open it with. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Silvam,

I have an issue with your stadiums and I am sure it is on me somehow not getting a setting right or something but I would love to fix it.

https://imgur.com/a/vEXYpjk

The image with the "squished in" outfield is my default game view for some reason and the second image when I hit "Pitch to batter" or any other function results in just their names showing up.

Why is this? How do I fix it?

Thanks so much

New Astrodome version (1971-1991) with sliding pits
Thank you for doing this one. As a lifelong Astros fan who grew up on NL baseball in the '70s and '80s, I'm very appreciative of your hard work on not just the Dome, but all of these historical stadiums. I've spent 90 percent of my OOTP time over the years playing historical so it's really cool to play in the stadiums that were around when I was a kid.

I'm not entirely clear on what your problem is. Is this happening when playing in 2D mode? If yes, what resolution are you using?

This is happening in both 2d and 3d. I am using whatever the default game's resolution is. I know that the cameras when following a batted ball behave wonkily.

What my problem is I guess is that I don't understand why the players seem out of place

You should check the ballpark editor under the pictures and coordinates and ball location tabs. They should be correct. I think there is probably an issue with how the game scales to custom resolutions

So how would I go about fixing it? Is there a setting to toggle I am missing or what?

Hi Silvam

I have had your older historical files on another computer. Now I am on a Macbook air 2021 and I need help in locating where I should put the historical files. Unfortunately MAC os is not as straightforward as Windows os was. Any help would be appreciated. Lastly, keep up the good work!

If you open OOTP settings. then troubleshooting, then click on "Open file with customizable data", that will open that folder. Then I create a link in the sidebar of the finder app.

Any chance you can make League Park (1930-1946) with lights? I am using for one of my fictional leagues and think it would look cool. No big deal if not. Thanks for your great parks!

I was getting read to ask the same question. I'm not the most technical wizard, so I can't play OOTP 23 with the historical parks until the Steam workshop is updated.

Unless there is a way I can do it manually? I just don't know how.

Any info much appreciated.

The work you have put in on these is amazing and much appreciated.

I didn't realize the Steam workshop is now open for 23. I'm uploading the latest version of the historical stadiums pack now. could take a while

Awesome news! Thanks for all your efforts! I've never tried to incorporate custom stadiums into the game, but I want to run a sim starting in 1901 and would love to see the old parks represented through your great work.

I saw a tutorial where someone mentioned going into the stadiums one by one to import them, is there a blanket way to just put all of them into the game and also have it work in such a way that when a team is scheduled to move into a new park, it auto-updates their park using your models? I haven't started the sim yet so if it's something I need to do prior to starting or whatever, I'm good there.

Thanks again! Love it!
