Stralman for Byfield offered

Had stralman on the trade block and randomly got an offer of byfield for him. Obviously makes no sense. Is there something weird with trading AI that should be fixed? It seems like sometimes the trades are too difficult (on normal) but in this case I was given a gift.

That Rob Blake's a sneaky one. What does he think? That 35 year-old D-men grow on trees? I'd hold out for Byfield and a pick.

Can you upload that save? I'd like to take a look at the exact circumstances there. Byfield and Stralman start the game at a similar overall level, but Byfield has much higher potential and a much cheaper contract, which should put their overall trade values so far out of line with each other that this offer wouldn't be possible.

done - arizoona is the file name. I had to delete the graphics folder because it wouldn't let me zip the file due to names of certain assets.

Just adding that I've seen similar. Had two 28 year old players that were 2.5 stars and on 2m~ contracts, but demoted to AHL. Placed them on the block and got offered a 4~ star prospects for each of them eventually.

edit: actually I think they might have been 2-star players... can't quite remember. Either way, they weren't very valuable.
