Online League needs help from Devs

Hello!
I manage an online league that started with FHM6 a little more than 2 years ago and we're now in the 2026/2027 season. We tried to experiment with the playoff format in 2025/2026 with the top 16 teams making the playoffs, but we ultimately didn't like it and tried to go back to the usual playoff format and let's say it didn't go according to plan.

I selected the correct playoff format on July 1st 2026 and even test simmed to the 2027 playoffs to make sure everything was alright and it worked. However, after we simmed our season, the playoff format is all messed up, with 24 teams in the playoffs and the matchups don't even make sense. I find this incredibly frustrating. I could understand if it was a 24-team playoff with reasonable matchups, but I can't even explain what happened.
I've also noticed the game is incredibly slow to load every time I try to sim a Wednesday and it happens every week. It started to do that back when we switched to FHM7.

I know FHM7 is an old version of the game, but is there any way you could help us by adjusting the playoff format the original one ? If you could also look at the Wednesday issue, it'd be nice too. I've uploaded my save file to your FTP server. It's named ONHL_2027Playoffs.

The playoff system is set to "Stanley Cup Playoffs 2020", which is the format used by the league in the Covid-delayed 2019-20 playoffs: 24 teams, 12 per conference, with a special qualifying round for teams ranked 5-12 in each conference that occurs at the same time as a seeding round-robin for the top 4 teams. That all appears to be working correctly when I run the save forward through the playoffs.

Since the playoffs have already started, there's no way to change the system at this point; that won't be possible until you get to July 1 and then you can change it to the system you intended (probably "Stanley Cup Playoffs 2021", the default format.) I did that and ran the 27-28 season, and the playoffs were back to the 16-team/4-per division format.

Something is definitely odd with the Wednesdays, I get the long delay too. Still investigating the cause.
