Some retired players do not show up in the search screen

Hi everyone. When I searched for "Gretzky" in my current day save, expecting the Great One to turn up in the results screen, only his brother Brent showed up. Any clue as to why this is so?

P.S. I searched for two other retired players, Pete Mahovlich and Cyclone Taylor, and their results did not show up as well.

There was a database bug in the early releases that was causing this, but IIRC, it was cleared up in one of the later patches. Surprised you just ran into it now as this issue's been quiet for a long time.

Are you using the latest patch?

Try opening the search filter and clicking reset, something may be filtering him out.

I pressed reset and I found that the search results were only limited to players aged 13-50, that's why Gretzky and the other players weren't showing up! Thanks for the help Jeff!
