Front Office Turnover - Playing in Commissioner Mode

How do I keep teams from having so much Front Office turnover?

I play in Commissioner Mode. Control all of the teams. Played that way since OOTP4.

No Financials. I play it like I used to play Strat-O-Matic in the 1960s and 70s....

How do make contracts 'permanent' and only fire front office or they retire? I want some consistency in front offices from season to season.

Think you can give them all 5 year contracts but I don't think that you can set them to never have their contracts run out. I could be wrong but I don't think it's possible

You can edit their contracts to max length, I think it's 10 years. And (I could be wrong about this bit) but you can also edit in a 10 year extension, making it a total of 20 years. Hopefully that's enough continuity for you.

And great to hear from another Start-O-Magic veteran from the 1960’s. We sure have come a long way, haven’t we? More than fifty years later, I can duplicate the 1966 teams i first played with, when I was in middle school. Same players, same teams, with a lot more depth to the game, like the financials and contracts. I enjoy the what-if’s, like my Phillies not trading away Ferguson Jenkins and Adolfo Phillips.
