Otis, Bip, Kruk, The Ripper, Gwynn, Robbie, Dickie Schofield, Bennie behind the plate and Eddie Whitson on the mound....Sounds like my kinda team! At least if they were all in their primes

I play out a lot of games. Sim weeks at a time too. I guess my only critique when playing games would be there seems to be too many "big" innings. That is more of an anecdotal feeling on my part.

Games simmed and games played out are different for sure. Just a matter of immersion and how much time you want to spend on a season. Clicking a button again and again gets boring.

I play all of my league's games out from the 7th inning on. I like having the hands-on control of the bullpen especially (but also pinch-hitters) and I also think it has a profound effect on your knowledge of the league. I do set things to where I handle substitutions only because to a large extent everything else feels like I'm trying to outsmart myself, and also I prefer abstracting baserunning, etc. If I had the choice I'd call intentional walks - they're a little too common for leagues set in older time periods - but that's relatively minor to me.

So in my latest season, I started April by playing my games in the in-game 3D engine. My team was horrible, barely winning 10 games in the whole month.
After I force quit the game, I replayed April but this time I didn’t go into the 3D engine and just hit the finish today button. My team barely lost 10 games in the entire month.

I think it's worth it to play even the lame games, so it makes you more experienced. I believe that there are no games that would be a shame to play since this is just a cultural censure that is often not based on real facts. I always play very diverse games and try to learn and improve myself in them as much as possible; this gives me a lot of motivation and inspiration. Now I play Call of Duty most of all, and it's interesting to see how quickly I can pump up my style of play. For those who also play this game, I advise you to pay attention to the site lavicheats.com since a large number of useful information on this game has been collected there.

What makes it worth it to play out games is whether you enjoy it.
