No. Still just CSV and unfortunately without a 3rd party app it's not easy to convert them to actually make them usable.

Any recommendations on simming experience better in 2D or Classic mode? I'm not watching the games.

Curious what differences people have experienced

You'll get statistical wonkiness if you have it on the default 'sim your own games in 2D and the rest in classic' in my experience regarding Takeaways and Giveaways. So switch it to "own league 2D, rest of the leagues classic" or whatever it's called.

I sim in classic as it's the only one that records play by play and I want to see in my mind how the goal was scored.

I mentioned this for FHM9 when thinking about QOL items - Will it likely ever be added as part of a content update or is it required to wait for FHM10 (if it makes it in).

A message that notifies you of the beginning (and possibly a day before the end date) warning that you're now able to sign your unsigned players. It's just so easy(and frustrating) to miss that window if you're not always on the look out for it.

It's on the to-do list, hasn't made it high enough to get done yet, though.

Proper schedules are important and should definitely be in this game by version 9.
Back-to-back are happening irl and have happened in the Finals as well. But I get that your example is different in the sense that only one team did, putting them at a big disadvantage. I don't know that this ever happened but it wouldn't make sense indeed.

With that being said it makes me wonder why the proper playoffs schedule format has not been implemented in this game. One would think it would be easy to alternate with half the teams every other day. What are the limitations ?

The game looks really nice. Is it possible to have international tournaments like the world championships or the olympics in custom games?

Hello - to the devs. Do you prefer I list FHM9 bugs/missing features as a single "bug post", or several reports and each of those focused on a single topic? Is the bug thread meant only for real bugs (non-features) or is it a right place to list missing features as well?

I've collected some issues related to European leagues and as a dev myself, would like first to know what is a preferred way to list the issues. And if you've a public list of known issues and/or roadmap somewhere, I would be interested. (It's unnecessary to list same things over and over again and mention things that are going to be looked over anyway.)

Hi. Can I add a FHM 6 savegame to FHM 9?

What happens to players who were too young for FHM 6 but now exist in 9 (e.g. 2022 draftees)? Do their rights belong to their real teams?

What about players who were not yet drafted in 6? E.g. I own Wright on Pittsburgh, will he stay on my team or suddenly be in Seattle?

What if someone is still active in my savegame but retired in real life (e.g. Subban)? Do they suddenly disappear from the database?

Do player ratings and salaries remain the same or change? I don't want to buy the game, import the savegame, and suddenly I am like $50M over the cap.

I am in 2026 in my savegame

The short answer is you can't move a game from 6 to 9 without 7 and 8.

The longer answer is, if you do decide to buy the game, I will help you convert it to 9. However, you will be missing some of the updates that couldn't be retroactively put in your save. I'm also not sure anyone has moved the game over that far, so it may have other issues eventually too. But hey, it may be perfectly fine as well!

As for the other stuff, nothing of the updates /player retirements/ whatever will affect your game as it is.

I wouldn't consider it a niche request. For anyone who uses fictional leagues the ability to customize regions is quite important in creating the users own worlds.

I usually either turn on my assistant during the off season but they don't always sign them by the date either so I also try to track it on a piece of paper.
