Can't Launch Game

Just purchased OOTP 23, after running OOTP 19 for several years.

Downloaded through Steam, when I launch, it doesn't work.

Restarted Steam, restarted computer, uninstalled antivirus, paused VPN, re-installed game. Nothing works. I click on Start Game, it shows as "Launching" for a couple seconds, then nothing. New computer, so min specs are fine.

Thoughts?

As an added bonus, my OOTP 19 now also doesn't launch.

Sometimes the game files can get corrupted for one reason or another. As a consequence, in most cases, an error appears on the screen, preventing the game's correct launch. The first thing you should do in such situations is to check the cache's integrity. Such a procedure will allow Steam to re-check all the game files and replace them with a new version in case of errors. You can try using a VPN from https://www.namecheap.com/vpn/how-do...-network-work/. If you have checked the integrity of the cache, but the result is still negative, then you should go to other methods of solving the problem.
