Yearly Draft Players All Old?

The yearly draft for my career year just populated with older players. Where , what settings determines the age?

Try Game Settings> League Settings > Rules, right-hand side there should be amateur draft settings to set the % of the pool that is High School and the % for JuCo. The rest, I think is college age.

Disable auto is not checked
Use predefined is checked
HS=40%
JC=20%
but I got ages all the way to 37 years.
I originally had a feeder league with older players, but I changed that and changed the draft date and got older players again.

I have my game set for 18 to 50, does that age used for the draft? If so do I just change for the draft and change back? Right now I have HS kids that are in their 30's!!!

15-year seniors. Wow. Their H.S. football team must be amazing...

On the age range where you have it (18 to 50) which specific screen is it on? I'll see if that toggle has a citation in the manual. Or I can run some toggles, sim to the draft and see the results. Or check the default on anew game. If my default new game has 18-22 in those cells and my draftees are the right age range, that's it.

OK got it. I change League settings, Rules, Active Age settings from 18-50 to 18-22 and got the draft ages correct. Thanks for the help!!!

Just looked at it again, 546 players 20-33? a lot of 20-24 but a bunch 24-32
Is there a random feature somewhere?
I will try again and see if something else off.

OK, I tried 0 and 0 in rules and 0 and 0 in Fictional Players and it worked!!! Must be some setting somewhere else that reads the draft.
Again thanks, new guy trying to understand the first year of a 1984 to now sim.
