"Jim Unknown" bug

Hi,

I just downloaded 9.2.82 and then went to continue my league. All of my players are now named "Jim Unknown", as they are on all of the teams.

Got your save in the email. The names.dat file is corrupted, upwards of 90% of the data in it is missing, so the game replaces the missing first/last name data with "Jim" and "Unknown". Easy to fix, though: just go to the \quickstart_games\Current.quick folder and copy the names.dat file in it into your save folder, replacing the broken version there. That'll restore the names back to normal.

Thanks Jeff. Not sure I know how to do that. Macs are crappy for showing files. I'll try, but if you have a "how to" cheat sheet, please post it.

Start your game.

Click on SETTINGS along the bottom.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Open Customizable Data Folder.

A new window will open, and then just follow Jeff's steps.
