Fastest Way to Scout Junior Draft-Eligible Players

In FHM8, it used to show their preference (junior vs. college) on the same page as their attributes. That at least gave a quick glance for determining if I should add them to my watch list. I would then scroll down all the bantam leagues eligible for the WHL draft and add them 1-by-1 to my watch list.

Now the Junior preference is set on the bio tab meaning I have to click twice as much... it's a significant slow down in a long process of combing through all bantam leagues.

Since there is a lack of filter for draft-eligible players (as far as I can see), what's the best method for only scouting draft-eligible players?

On the Manager Home screen (top option on the manager menu) there's a link in the bottom-right corner to the draft page for the upcoming draft. That'll show you everybody that's eligible, as if you were already on draft day, and can be filtered from there.

But we really should get junior preference and region added to the filters, I'll see if we can add those in the final update.

Oh man - I never knew that was there. Thank you!

I'll definitely be using this.

Okay, I scrolled through all the players and added everyone with at least 1 star to my watch list. I then flipped through the .5 stars and added them selectively... took me 17 minutes. Under my old process it was 20-30 minutes depending on if I was high or not.

This is a great improvement! There could be a couple other ways to speed up the process...

- Make "Add to Watchlist" an option when right clicking on their name while looking at the full list
- Provide a "Add all to Watchlist" as an option under the Action Menu when looking at the full list
- Have the down-arrow key go to the next player while looking at the player details.

Otherwise this is a great improvement for me.
