Draft Issues

Hello,
I’ve played 10 seasons and noticed there are never any potential 5 star prospects to draft in the first round other than maybe a RP. I am trying to rebuild the Pirates and have had several top 10 picks but there never seems to be a franchise player to take in any of the draft pools. And none of my top 10 picks have ever turned into a decent major leaguer. I have had 2 different scouting directors that are both “legendary” at scouting amateurs.

This is in the v.21 forum, in case you did it intending to post about a current version!

Anyway, this is something that's complained about in OOTP in general. I don't think there's a real workaround. The usual answer is that "talent change randomness" means some will see huge increases, but I'm with you, I haven't seen that either. But, I play all my games out and am only in the third season of my longest save with v21!
