My search came up short of these searches.
The Atlanta Constitution of June 8, 1966, reported that the Braves drafted a 20-year-old first baseman named Reid Braden from Lakewood, CA, so I'm reasonably sure I got the right guy in this photo. The photo shows a first baseman named Reid Braden of Cerritos Junior College in California catching a ball tossed to him by his teammate pitcher. The photo is from The Valley Times of May 21, 1966.

If only the White Sox had signed him, maybe he would have been seen on the South Side of Chicago.

Ray Burner was a pitcher. The following is his B-R.com record:

https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=burner000ray

The photo below was taken when he was signing a contract with the Braves. It is from the Jersey Journal of Feb. 25, 1966. The caption says that he had been the St. Mary's pitching ace. I assume that St. Mary's was in Jersey City, since that was the location of the newspaper.
