Help!

So something went very wrong with my historical league tonight. I had just finished the 1914 season World Series and when I went to Continue, a number of things loaded, player database or something.
When I got to the next screen all of the team names that I had changed back in 1903 from MLB team names to ficticious names had reverted. Now the MLB team names are back although the league history and everything seems to be the same. Even stranger the standings show half the league playing and half the league not playing. I'll post a couple pictures. Anyone have any idea what could have happened. Thanks so much!

A couple more screenshots...some teams seem to be correct just with the name changes back to the MLB team while others have lost their roster.

Hmmm FL comes in that year, and I reckon that's got something to do with this. No idea what, though - post it as a bug and see what the devs say is my advice.

There's an option for historical expansion. Uncheck the option.

Did you have the Historical minors boxed checked? Also check Enable automatic evolution under league Settings - Options.

I did have historical minors. I did not have historical expansion on and I truedn that off. I don't see "automatic evolution under league settings > options.
I played the next day but everything is still seriously messed up. Half the league has played games, half are 0-0. Half the rosters are empty and my team names are gone and the MLB team names are back. I'd like to try to salvage it though because the league history up until the day it messed up (day after 1914 world series) is perfect.

unclick "Automatically expand league".

I did do this but nothing was fixed. Is there anything i can do except revert to my last backup? Unfortunately that is 3 years back so id like to save it if possible.
Any reason why expanding the league reverted to old team names and emptied so many rosters?

I think there is now a "Restore Autosave" option, so depending on how often you autosave, you could try doing that, then doing the other things people have suggested above, and then see if that works.
