Questions about league Award announcements and about new internation free agent system

I just moved my historical v23 to v24. I finished the 1962 season, It os now the first day after the playoffs. I am currently preparing for the 1963 season.

I have done several sims to understand the new version. But, I have two questions.

First, I am not getting the league awards notifications in my news feeds. I have all the boxes checked but nothing is coming through. Is v24 different from v23? Or, have I failed to check a box somewhere?

Second, my save has not mentioned any of the new training camps for international free agents. Again, have I failed to check a box some where?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure there would be International free agents in1962. Those that were at that time would be real-life minor leaguers (if enabled) or people who became MLB players in a Historic game.

When you go the almanac after the simming tests, is it giving out the awards? Just clarifying if it is an issue with the awards being handed-out or merely a BBN news/email issue.

Yes, the awards are being handed out. I can see them if I check the almanac. I just can't pick them up in my news feed.

Regarding the new FA system, is what you are saying that I need to start a new game beginning with the 2023 season?

Also, I have been able to create an international free agent draft in my historical setting. Just, not been able to create this new system of free agent workouts.

Awards announcements are General League News items. Are they showing up in the League Newspaper?

No. They are not showing up in the newspaper. I can only find them in the awards section of the league history. In v23, they showed up in my news feed.

Interesting. For actual historic player or fictional 1962 players?

On an imported game the default wouldn't exist for the new system. Have you gone into game settings to see if an imported game can turn the new system on through newly introduced toggles?

Do i need to check/uncheck any set up boxes for the new IAFA system?
