Question about historical leaderboards

If I start a standard game, the leaderboards are accurate. The only way I have been able to recreate it is to look up Barry, right-click him as Commissioner, and then delete the player. Once I do that, he disappears from the leaderboards.

If you type "Barry Bonds" in the player search bar does he come up in the as retired? Or is he just missing? If missing, he was either deleted or it was a borked installation/start-up that didn't load particular players.

It's actually more the player leaders (ie on the player history tab) that changed in the update, not the league leaderboards. I don't know how the above without Bonds or Mac came about.
