Above all, thanks for your patience! That brings us up to the "present" day in this timeline. In case I didn't spell it out clearly enough, 1969 will be the final season using the IABC nomenclature. After that, the Moon Shot League takes over. No structural changes or anything, although there might be some more franchises swapped in and out along the way. And there is still one big reveal to come.

The team graphics are still coming through and will be added as they are received, with the plan being all shall be in place (or close enough to) for 1970. There's about 1/3 of them left to go at the time of writing.

Bigger leagues are tough to cover comprehensively, so I made the decision early on in the conceptualisation of this universe that I was going to go the other way and make it almost entirely about Bradford. The players, staff, fans, whatever. Beyond that I have no idea just yet - hopefully the muse shall strike along the way!

That said, this thread will still feature all of the usual info like historic achievements and big performances from around the league. Just not a lot of the clutter like signings, hirings, firings, moves and the like - unless they involve someone relevant to the storyline. Or, of course, the mighty Beagles out of Bradford PA!

Thanks for the background! I will say the title threw me off when the thread first started, but it has been interesting to follow. Excited to see where you go with this, the format is unique and I'm really digging your style. Go Beagles!

Awesome - appreciate you coming along for the ride! As you can see from my sig I've got a fair bit of experience with these and it invariably takes me a period of trial and error before I settle on the preferred reportage style. This one will, I'm sure, be no different - so don't be afraid to shout out if there's specific stuff you want to see more / less of.

Thanks mate, going for the narrower focus in a broad context vibe here, so you get to know the Bradford players intimately but still get a sense of what's going on elsewhere. Still nutting a few things out but glad you're enjoying it so far - I'm really pleased with how it is turning out.
