I'd like a player to be able to be trained at any time to play any position he played during his career. Currently this is only possible within categories, IF, OF, and C.
OTOH, and this isn't my thought, someone else who I can't remember posted it, maybe a player who played only a few games at a position shouldn't keep that even if he had good ratings. I think this was in reference to a player who came up as a catcher and switched to OF or something early in his MLB career.
But players who switch position real life often do so because of team needs not because of their skill or lack of skill at a position.

Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics?
