Lee Craig was on the Yankees' spring roster in both 1929 and 1930. In 1929, he was placed on the voluntary retired list with a sore arm on 4/9/1929 after pitching only one inning that spring. It appears that the Yankees kept thinking he was a prospect, but the aching arm did him in.
