Skipping season and player development
If you skip a season, will players still develop?
I am creating a college league in which the draft order is based on actual real world football recruiting. It will take me four years to fill out the rosters (15 players drafted a year; 60 man rosters; players with 4 years experience or 23 yrs old forced to retire). I want to skip seasons while I fill the rosters thru HS drafts, but I'm worried players who are drafted in year 1, 2 and 3 will not develop. I can't play a season because I won't have enough players until year 3. One solution would be to have ghost players on the rosters, but I don't think ghosts can play in your top league. |

Pirates Play Moneyball 1951 to 2008 46,000 views and counting!... Wow, up to 47,000, thank you. Wow, I hadn't checked for weeks. Oct 9 2024 its 79,561. Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics? |
