Sure. Here are ones I made tonight. It says filname= on my end. This results in the colors.xml being someone defective. Easy enough to fix with a search replace, but If we could get that knocked out, all the better.

Random question:

Have you thought about adding random jersey elements that you might not commonly find in baseball, but maybe other sports? I'm thinking about things like wide stripes, which an old jersey template has and I've made use of for a number of teams in my fictional universe.

There could be wide stripes like below, or "five stripes" since some soccer teams use wider stripes, or even "hoops" for something completely different.

Another thing I'm wondering about is if it would be possible to adjust the opacity/transparency on the cloth texture layer. I'm trying to make wool jerseys right now to recreate the early 1900s effect, but the wool overlay seems to be a bit darker than many of the others.

Version 0.9.0 has been released

Not much in the way of obvious changes, but some big stuff under the hood.

What's New
  • Bumped Electron from 18.3.15 to 22.3.24.
  • Converted all GET & POST calls to IP & removes express dependency. This one is a pretty big deal - Inter-Process Communication (IPC) is node.js's "best practices" method for dealing with sending data from node backend to the HTML front-end, and I finally figured out how to make it work.
What's Fixed
  • Plus and minus keys other than the ones on the number pad should now work to change stacking order of elements.
https://github.com/eriqjaffe/OOTP-Un...ases/tag/0.9.0

I still need to get around to adjusting the size of the league logo on the jersey, just haven't gotten to that quite yet.

I wonder. Is this type of tool capable of an old template converter later in the future? Like I could use one of low's fictional jerseys he used before OOTP 23, click on a "convert" button and have it replicated to an OOTP 24 and beyond template? I'm manually recreating a couple of his fictional stuff to get a more authentic 2 team expansion for my MLB save, and looking to save a bit of time

The Uniform Creator is not capable of doing that, and I have no intention of even trying to make it happen.

LOL, understandable. I'll get back to manual recreations.

Are you going to add No Pepper's historical layers to any future updates? Thanks.

I'd have to share them with Mr. Jaffe, and life's been a bit busy lately! Is that a hoot n' holla for 'em?

I'd absolutely love them, given all the work I've been doing on 1800s uniforms.

At the same time, I do like saving my work in Photoshop format so I can go back to it when it's time to update uniforms.

What I have been doing is putting vintage elements in my uniforms in Photoshop and then finishing them off in eriqjaffe's Uniform Maker. Takes longer, but it gives me the best of both worlds.

Looks like I'll have to do the same.

You have downloaded the source code, not the compiled program. Every single one of my release announcements has a link directly to the download page for that specific release. The current release is 0.9.0:

https://github.com/eriqjaffe/OOTP-Un...ases/tag/0.9.0

I have updated the readme document on the main project page to make it hopefully more clear that running from source is an option, but not the best choice for most people.

OOTP doesn't need the "_home" for the home font (or for any other uniform element for that matter). Saving the file as "alderaan_royals.png" should be all you need to do.

You may still need to load the font in-game in the uniform editor the same way as you would any other uniform element, but that's an OOTP question, not a question about the Uniform Maker.

i saved it as home to differentiate between home & away fonts. the home font doesn't look good on a powder blue away jersey or the gold alt. i saved it the 2nd time as a .png and it still didn't show up. i also tried assigning it to the team but was unable to screenshot that it was still red.

OOTP does not use _home so if the file has _home in it, OOTP will not recognize it as the home font.

The way to differentiate between home and away is to name one with _away and the one without anything is, by default, the home font.

Other than that, I can't see what you're doing wrong. But, again, this is an OOTP question. The Uniform Maker generates jersey fonts that definitely work.

i dropped the home and made sure the .png showed up and it came up. i ended up uninstalling your program and all associated with because i could not get snip tool to work. I'm dumb. So i have to re-install them all soon.
Many of the fonts have home or away at the back of them. These are either the default fonts or Silvam.

I literally do not know what to tell you. I've used dozens of fonts from the Uniform Maker in OOTP without any issues at all.

Jersey Fonts - where to put them in folder structure

Hello,

First, a huge kudos to justafan. I've just started using the Uniform Maker and it is amazing!

I have created a jersey for one of my teams in a fictional league I play. I have successfully copied the jersey, ballcaps and pants to the game folders, but cannot figure out where the file for the jersey fonts should go. (It is called hobart_away.png).

My folder structure is:
\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 24\saved_games\Australian Baseball.lg\... (contains ballcaps, jerseys, pants subfolders).

Does anyone know where this jersey font file should go?

Thanks!
