Tournament Rosters Drop Players While Selling Cards

Just wanted to write as this has happened to me already a few times now... I'm sure it's already been reported as I imagine it must happen to lots of people, but I wasn't able to find those reports so I'm posting just in case.

I keep having this issue where I find empty slots in my tournament rosters and lineups and realized that the open slots were from players whose cards I was selling. In all these cases, I still had the card in question; I was just selling a duplicate of the card. But still, every time that I've had this happen, I've had to go and re-activate the card and add it back into my tournament rosters.

Thank you! and hope it gets fixed soon!

This won't be considered a bug - but it's certainly a bugbear after it caught me out last year! I hope this explanation makes sense to you

There's a setting that tells the game what to do when locking cards for a mission -- someone else will need to explain that as I don't have PT on my pc atm -- but I think the default setting locks a duplicate if you have one, which basically turns the unlocked original into a duplicate. If you then sell all your duplicates, you're quite likely to sell some cards that are on tourney rosters.

First thing is to find the correct setting for card-locking priority so that originals are locked going forward. Then tweak your tourney rosters to include the locked version of any cards and (optionally) sell the other copies so that the locked card is definitely considered to be the original from now on. Check that any remaining unlocked cards on the roster are not classed as duplicates and swap them out for originals if needed. When you've done that, it should be safe to sell duplicates when you're in PT without breaking your tourney rosters!

Personally, I'm massively disappointed that there hasn't been a revolutionary revamp of the tourney roster management yet.

The workaround is to log into your tournament team and sell your cards from there, being sure to uncheck "active roster".

Another way to possibly avoid problems is when placing cards on your tournament team to be sure that "hide duplicates" is selected.

Thank you both for your help! I've updated my card-locking priority, will see if that helps at all... I suppose too that it wouldn't be so bad to sell players from my tournament roster; it's just that it's a nuisance to have to sign up for a tournament of a specific type just to be able to sell a player. I've been wondering since I started with Perfect Team last week why there wouldn't be the option to edit tournament rosters without having actually entered a tournament.
