Can George Baker Face, neck & forehead be cleaned up? Thank you in advance

I have attempted to fix the George Baker image that was submitted regarding "Cleaning up" the forehead, face and neck. Removing a watermark as intrusive as this one is not easy, and is frowned upon. I have tried to alter the image as requested by the only way I could think of, cloning the unaltered side of the face and plastering it on top of the watermarked side. The face as presented is not totally head-on so the process yields less than exemplary results.

George Leslie Cochran colorized with the Boston Red Sox from an image shared by rrb77. I cannot take credit for this one. I had colorized an image of Cochran and shared it in this thread so I don't usually double dip, especially on a one year one team player. This image is a substantial upgrade however. I ran it through an A.I. colorization program called Palette FM. It turned out pretty great so I am sharing it with only a few minor tweaks. I have also reshared (?) my original Cochran image.
