Game Keeps crashing at the same point every time

I have a save file that only has NHL and AHL as playable leagues, with a user controlled GM/Head Coach for every single team. I simulated from July 1st to September 26th, and after I closed out, the game seems to crash every time i try to open up the file at the exact same point in game each time

It says "import names" at the 59% mark and it freezes for 10 seconds, then it moves forward to the "finished loading" text on 64% and it crashes. Ive had something identical happen on other saves ive made since this point, with the freezing at those exact points in time, but they dont crash and actually load the save file. Ive tried a bunch of different things ive already done on a different file to see if i can replicate/explain the crash (adding additional coaches, assigning them to teams, editing those coaches attributes) none of those have replicated the crash so i am now confused as to what caused it. I can create a new file, but that wont be an option in a few days as this will be the admin file of a sim league

I also want to note that i use the CSV files frequently and had downloaded the CSVs from the potentially broken save file multiple times if that makes a difference. However, I exported CSVs from the files ive been trying to crash to explain the first files failings and it still didnt.

Same here is happening to me. Not at a particular date, but after closing out and trying to load it again. Please help us It is getting annoying. Are u using Mac by the whay?

I am using a PC, not a mac

Okay so I was able to get a second file to do the same thing so i know its not just a corrupt file. I was able to exit and reload on august 1st, but not september 26th with this file. I have a backup file for it so i dont have to redo all my work, but now im confident this is not a fluke and making a new save wont be a resolution.

Please upload one of the saves (uploading instructions at https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=341827) - sounds like there's some specific thing in your configuration that's causing it, but it'll be a lot easier to find that if we can look at exactly how it's set up.

I have uploaded a save to the system. It is called "24SL Sim League.lg"

OK, found the problem, it'll be fixed in the hotfix update, which is probably coming tomorrow (unless we run into something new that requires an urgent fix.) Existing saves with the problem will be fixed when they're loaded in the updated game (and they will load now, I just checked it with your save.)

Hello, I’ve had a save file going that has worked fine until I tried to load in to it tonight where I had this same issue happen. The game would load until it got to loading players at around 40ish% then after a bit it would move past it and once it got to finishing loading at 64% the game would crash.

Could be a different problem, saves with the original issue are definitely working OK after the update. Could you upload the save (instructions at https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...php?t=341827)? We'll have a look and see if we can find what's wrong.

The save is badly corrupted, about half of the files are missing data. However, one of your backups is still intact: if you go into the rs_one subfolder and copy all of the files there into the main folder (overwriting the ones currently there), you'll be able to load the game again.
