I suspect that Pina, Dineen, Foucault and Gaston can be classified as Unicorns at this point.

Where I specify "'78 uni" it is because the club changed unis from 1977 or for 1979, or, for the Padres, both (thanks, Ray), placing a premium on images from 1978 specifically.

Jack Owens was a catcher who played two games for the Philadelphia A's in 1935. In looking for a better picture for a facegen than what was on BBR, I got this one with my first hit on newspapers.com. It is from his 1939 Season in Columbia SC.

And since he's at Wrigley Field, and 1978 was his only year, I assume this is the right uniform.

Alfredo Griffin doesn't even have a color photo of himself with Cleveland (he asked Doug McWilliams AND me) which is odd because Topps clearly shot him and used a black and white version of one image in a '79 rookie card - any other images disappeared. I looked.

I got Perzanowski but neither the negative nor the print have been seen in years. A few others have bubbled up.

Startling trivia about the one-time 46-homer man from the Orioles. When dealt by the A's to Houston at the start of June, 1965, he was tied for the A.L. lead in homers with 10.

Played for four teams in his last two years and went to spring training with a fifth - the Phillies - in 1967.
