Reset Service Time For Cloned Player

I have cloned a player and made him a rookie. (changed his age). But no matter what I do I can not change his service time. Any Solutions?

import him instead of cloning him

I just tested and was able to edit those fields.

Make sure you are hitting "Enter" after making your change.

After you clone him, exit OOTP, go back in, then go to League Settings->and click the Export {league name} Rosters button. Export the roster to a text file. In the text file, for that cloned player's record, look for the 691 and 973 among the comma-delimited entries, change those to zero, then save the file. Go back into OOTP, click the Import {league name} Rosters button, and import the file you just modified.

I clone players all the time. Was hitting enter after hitting 0 not working at 1st?

The player was a free agent. Have to be on a roster to change service time.

Not if you export/import the free agents to/from a text file.

Seems like a lot of extra steps for one player. Editing is so much simpler for my needs.
